About the Author

Mike Holden

Mike Holden has profiled football managers as a freelance journalist for more than a decade, putting their methods and leadership styles under the microscope for the likes of FourFourTwo magazine and the Racing Post.

It was a passion that triggered a deep interest in social psychology, ultimately taking him to Los Angeles and Washington DC on intensive Personality Hacker training courses studying the finer points of the Myers-Briggs typology system.

This book is the culmination of his journey to becoming a certified profiler and achievement coach. His next ambition is to work alongside out-of-work managers, guiding them on their personal development and back into employment.

What the Experts Say

“I’ve long been a fan of Mike’s original thinking in psychology and the profiling of managers. Everybody has an opinion on football nowadays but it’s important to separate the wheat from the chaff – and Mike does that in such a unique way.”

Mark Langdon

Racing Post

“What Mike does is unique. The personality profiling is something that simply no-one else is doing anywhere, and that allows him to draw conclusions about possible upturns or downturns in future performance that numbers alone won’t spot.”
